Internet
Connection Sharing
Why
have Internet Connection Sharing?
When you decide to order a high speed internet connection at your house or
office, the local high-speed internet companies (such as Bell Sympatico™,
Rogers™, etc) will install a jack in the wall where your computer is located.
Your computer is then connected to this jack allowing it to access the
internet at incredibly high speeds. But this allows only one computer in
your house to access the high speed internet. If you have more than one
computer in your home, the others will not have the luxury of accessing this
high speed internet connection.
Having the local internet company install extra jacks is
an option but they will often charge an extra monthly fee for each additional
jack.
What is Internet Connection Sharing?
Internet connection sharing takes the internet signal from the wall-jack and divides it evenly among all the computers in your house without
any messy renovations or expensive monthly fees. With internet connection
sharing installed, all of the computers in your house will have unlimited access
to high speed internet using a few simple pieces of hardware and some cables.
If you have a high speed internet connection and would
like all of the computers in your home or office to be able to access it, or if
you have further questions about internet connection sharing, then feel free to
contact
us. Digital Solutions is fully capable of installing internet
connection sharing for you and would be happy to provide more information,
give an assessment, estimation, or evaluation.
